Branxholm Park – A wedding venue, unrivalled in the whole of Scotland, for small intimate weddings
Why do we make such a bold claim?
We believe that what we are offering at Branxholm Park has never been achieved before – a completely private holiday wedding venue, where your wedding becomes a special and most memorable time to enjoy the company of your wedding guests over a relaxing three-day stay. A place to create memories for a lifetime.
Your safety and well being is our top priority
At Branxholm Park, we are committed to providing you with the most magical and beautiful, small, intimate wedding.
Whilst doing this, we have also worked hard to adapt our offering in line with current changes recommended by the Scottish Government to fight the spread of Covid – 19.
At present, we are operating with reduced guest numbers.
20 people can attend your wedding and you need to include your photographer in this number. You can, however, have children 12 or under, as additional guests on top of this number.
As mixed parties can no longer self-cater, we are providing additional staffing to serve drinks, snacks, and meals from the kitchen area when required. We are providing complimentary breakfast rolls each morning.
We ask guests that are resident in the house to use their own private w/c in their bedrooms whenever possible, rather than the shared facilities downstairs.
We ask that the guests using the Garden and Fountain Bedrooms are all from one family household, as these two bedrooms share a bathroom.
We will continue to implement social distancing, additional cleaning and health & safety protocols, for as long as necessary. Our list of new operating procedures is extensive and will continue to evolve to reflect ongoing Government and medical advice, customer feedback and industry best practice. This is coupled with a robust audit process to ensure that all new regimes are being implemented. We are happy to share this upon request.
Our new procedures have included improving and increasing our already robust set of cleaning procedures across both guests facing and back of house areas. Constant cleaning will take place in all public areas, with emphasis on touchpoints.
We are checking temperatures of all staff and visitors and encouraging the use of the hand sanitisation facilities. Staff are wearing face coverings and guests are also asked to do so unless seated eating or drinking or in their private bedroom.
Test and Trace is in operation.
PPE is provided to team members where appropriate, including face masks, disposable gloves, and additional uniform supplies, which will be laundered to ensure each item is clean at the start of every shift.
All team members have undergone back to work risk assessment training for our new health and hygiene protocols.
We will continue to clean bedrooms with the proven traditional methods, along with a deep-clean of all hard and soft surfaces.
All linen is removed from guest rooms on departure, regardless of use, and washed at temperatures more than 60 degrees, which has been proven to kill any trace of the disease.
If you as a Bride or Groom, or wedding guest at Branxholm Park, have any concerns at all over Covid 19, please do get in touch as we are happy to talk through our procedures and commitment to working safely through this Pandemic.
