The package is designed to feel romantic and complete as well as practical, with the fairytale glasshouse, romantic ceremony room, on-site accommodation, in-house catering and no corkage, BYOB drinks model brought together as one hosted country house experience.
- Either 1 or 2 nights Accommodation (and use of the house outside of the wedding times of 1pm on the wedding day until 1am) for up to 16 adults/teens and 6 children as part of your wedding package.
- 40 People on your wedding day included (including wedding couple) with the ability to add more. Capacity is up to 74 people seated for the wedding meal, including the wedding couple, and up to 85 guests on site in total, including the wedding couple and any children. Additional fees apply for extra people, including guests arriving for the evening at 7 pm.
- Arrival time of 3 pm if staying on the day before your wedding, or 11 am for one night stays.
- Welcome meal on the night of your arrival for all guests staying onsite on the night before the wedding (pay an additional fee to have more people than this).
- Buffet Breakfast at 9 am on the morning(s) of your stay – tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices, bacon buns, sausage buns (Vegetarian/vegan/alllergies catered for). Pastries, yogurts and fresh fruit bowl.
- Exclusive use of all leisure and Spa facilities for all guests staying on site
- The services of an experienced Wedding Co-Ordinator

What is included in the Branxholm Park wedding package?
The Branxholm Park wedding package is designed to include much more than a standard venue hire. It brings together exclusive use of the house and grounds, on-site accommodation, in-house catering, venue flowers, a wedding cake, canapés, breakfast, brunch, evening food, table décor, glassware, napkins and many of the details couples would usually need to source separately.
The aim is to make wedding planning feel simpler and more transparent, while still giving you a private country house celebration that feels personal, warm and beautifully hosted.
How many people are included in the standard package?
The standard Branxholm Park wedding package is based on 40 people in total. This includes the wedding couple and any children, apart from babies under 12 months.
Most couples book the standard package first, then final numbers are confirmed closer to the wedding once your guest list is clearer.
Can we have a smaller wedding or elopement?
Yes. If you are planning a smaller wedding or elopement-style celebration, please get in touch and we can discuss what may be possible for your chosen date.
Branxholm works especially well for intimate weddings where the closest family and friends stay in the house and the celebration feels more like a private country house gathering than a traditional function venue.
Can we increase our guest numbers?
Yes. You can add guests above the standard package number. Branxholm can seat up to 74 people for the wedding meal, including the wedding couple, and can have up to 85 guests on site in total, including the wedding couple and any children.
Final guest numbers are usually confirmed during the wedding planning stage, around six weeks before the wedding, when any additional guest costs are calculated.
How are additional guests charged?
Your wedding package includes 40 people in total. If your final guest numbers are higher than this, additional guests are charged separately once your numbers are confirmed during the wedding planning stage.
Adults and teenagers above the package number are charged at £89 per person. Children aged between 12 months and 12 years who are not staying in the house and are eating from the children’s menu are charged at £49 per child. Babies under 12 months are not charged, but we still need to know they are attending for fire safety and planning purposes.
Are flowers included in the package?
Yes. Branxholm Park includes venue flowers as part of the wedding package. Around a month before the wedding, we ask about your colours and create flowers and foliage to tie in with your theme.
This usually includes table decorations around storm lanterns, flowers around the house and flowers for the ceremony room. Bouquets and buttonholes are not included, as these are personal to your outfits and style.
Is a wedding cake included?
Yes. The package includes a two-tier wedding cake with simple buttercream icing and flowers to match your colours. Couples can usually choose from vanilla, chocolate or lemon.
You are also welcome to bring your own wedding cake if you prefer. If you do, just let us know during the planning stage so we do not make one for you.
Do we need to organise stationery, napkins, glassware or table décor?
No, not unless you want to. Branxholm provides many of the practical wedding-day details as part of the package, including napkins, glassware, table décor and name cards.
Because the venue is intimate and fully hosted, the wedding manager and team help guide guests through the day, so couples often do not need to organise as much printed stationery as they might at a larger venue.
